Interlaken means locked between two lakes: Lake Thun
and Lake Briens. It is located almost at the heart of Switzerland. The city is
known as the gateway to the surrounding mountains and lakes. Among the main
mountain attractions are Jungfrau, Monch and Eiger. Within the city paragliding
and parachuting are very popular.
