Gornergrat, Swiss Alps, offers views of the
legendary Matterhorn, of course, if the weather allows. As this is nothing
unusual, unpredictable weather in the mountains, even in July. When one would hope
to see the peaks of Matterhorn, it turned out otherwise. The mountain and the
valley were covered in fog. It was disappointing and yet rewarding to see the
spectacular fog in the valley with only lower peaks being visible. It had its
own magic.
