Lake Carezza, located in South Tyrol of Italy, is
known for its amazing colors reflecting the Rosengarten massive in its waters. According
to legend, a beautiful mermaid hid here from the romantic pursuits of a
powerful wizard. The wizard wanting to seduce the mermaid magically created the
rainbow sending beautiful colors into the water. Therefore, it is also called
the Rainbow Lake.
