City of Tours - the Alleged Wine Perfection, France

The city of Tours in central France is known for its wines, the alleged perfection.

Unique to the Old City are its preserved half-timbered buildings and la Place Plumereau, a square with busy pubs and restaurants, whose open-air tables fill the center of the square. (Leonardo da Vinci Restaurant was an amazing experience).

Basilica of St. Martin (below) is a Roman Catholic basilica dedicated to Saint Martin of Tours, on whose tomb it was built.
