Bryggen of Bergen in Pictures

Bryggen is a series of Hanseatic commercial buildings lining the eastern side of the Vagen harbor of Bergen. Since 1979 Bryggen has been the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.

At Hanseatic Museum of stockfish and grain traders you can learn about the Hanseatic League and its day to day life and activities. At the end of the 13th century, Bergen became a bureau city of the Hanseatic League until the mid of 18th century, when it was resolved.
